Craig Ansell - Accredited Anxiety Practitioner
What is LAR Coaching?
LAR (‘Linden Anxiety Recovery’) is the world’s only dedicated, accredited anxiety recovery therapy.
LAR Practitioners are professionally qualified and licensed Anxiety Recovery Coaches who, through a structured and supportive treatment process, enable you to create reduction and ultimate elimination of ALL inappropriate fear (anxiety); returning the sufferer to normal, balanced emotional responses and physical equilibrium.
The anxiety conditions that can be treated include generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), disturbing thoughts (Pure O), low mood (anxiety related depression), anxiety related eating disorders and PTSD. The process removes anxiety disorders deep within the subconscious mind; the part of your mind that controls, amongst other things, your emotional responses.
LAR Coaching is not CBT based and is not therapy or counselling. We are not in the game of ‘managing’ anxiety or providing coping strategies… we want to help you to become the best you can possibly be and gain ultimate fulfilment in every aspect of your life.
Your recovery will also result in you being ‘programmed’ to be resistant against developing another anxiety disorder in the future. The process is so simple, so fast and so effective and produces long-term results.
Coaching is provided one to one in a five-session-structure. When you become a Linden Method Coaching Member you will also have online access to all program materials and be entitled to ‘wrap-around’ support from The Linden Centre Specialists by telephone or email, should you require it, for up to three months after joining.
About me and why I became an Anxiety Coach:
I have worked within The Armed Forces and Prison Service for the past 24yrs; a predominantly stressful environment. I can honestly say I know what stress is and how it affects the body and mind. However, I never realised that I would, one day have to deal with my own anxiety. I was always so strong and could deal with anything that life had to throw at me.
But something wasn’t right and I seemed to be getting worse, in fact I never knew what was wrong with me until I came across The Linden Method. All became clear after reading about Charles Linden, the founder of The Linden Method. I couldn’t believe it; I had actually suffered with many of the same symptoms that Charles himself had been suffering with.
While I myself was completing The Linden Method I found this to be very empowering, this gave me the knowledge and the tools to enable me to recovery quickly and regain my life back. Within weeks I was back to my normal self and enjoying life once again.
I now realised my passion was to help others who were suffering in those same circumstances. No one should have to go through what me or my loved ones had been through, it wasn’t long before I was working towards being an LAR Coach.
Now as a qualified LAR Coach my desire is to help others overcome their anxiety disorder and all anxiety related symptoms, through coaching and supporting clients.
Around 12 million people in the UK, alone, suffer from some form of anxiety related condition. Generalised anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, Pure O, PTSD, self-harming, eating disorders… the list goes on.
To date, the treatments of choice mostly included medication and talking therapies that, as any sufferer sadly knows, produce little in terms of recognisable relief. Access to care is sporadic at best, often leaving the patient without guidance, support or reassurance for extended periods of time. The effect can be devastating to families, careers, employers and economies, costing the UK alone tens of £billions each year in lost productivity and care. Private care is normally expensive, limited and curatively unsuccessful and sufferers are told that they must implement life-long anxiety management and coping strategies.
Few practitioners speak of anxiety disorder recovery, even fewer create recovery, but an organisation from the Midlands that has been helping people from all over the world over the last 16 years has developed what psychologists are referring to as ‘a new branch of psychological practice’. The practice model has been used to help over 230,000 people to date and is available in home learning, one-to-one, residential or organisational formats, meaning that practitioners can work within a variety of healthcare, educational or commercial settings to deliver the solutions with seamless, constant support and guidance.
Director of LAR, Charles Linden says:
“The problem is mostly one of definition and ignorance about the true nature of high anxiety conditions. Anxiety is not fear, anxiety is an inappropriate manifestation of fear and is never acceptable and can be permanently eliminated, if you know how to do it. Despite the billions of pounds spent on anxiety disorders each year, the solution is within every sufferer’s grasp and our frustration is that the clear, irrefutable evidence we have collected over 19 years proves that we cure anxiety disorders, but we need to get it to the people who need it, which is how the practitioner qualification came about. What I named The Linden Method over 19 years ago, is now used by and referred to by psychologists and doctors in practice… people who suffer like I once did are finally receiving the care and recovery that eluded me for so long and with compliance, the outcomes are pretty much guaranteed. We have trainees coming from across the world to take what we do back to their country. It’s a truly wonderful thing for all involved, but most importantly, the sufferers.”
Is a qualification accredited by the NCFE, one of the world’s oldest educational bodies, at professional Level 4.
